From the Spectrum 2000 brochure: The RS-2000 Receiver-Exciter provides all receive and low-level (100-milliwatt) transmit drive functions in a spectrum 2000 multimode communications system. The receiver-exciter also hosts the system CPU. The RS-2000 consists of a chassis fitted with miniaturized radio modules individually selected for a particular application. Any combination of single module receivers, exciters, filters, and digital cards may be installed on the PC/AT digital bus. The rugged, compact 19-inch rack-mounted equipment operates from 90 to 250 V, 44 to 440 Hz AC or 20 to 60 V DC.

I worked at Collins Radio for 34 years, through 3 company name changes. These are some of my Rockwell International Collins and Collins Radio Collectables that I have picked up over those years.
